Act 1 was designed to allow players to become more comfortable with the game and new difficulty. Similar to the jump in Normal/Nightmare difficulty between Act 1 and Act 2, Act 2 amps up the difficulty another notch. But, don’t worry. It’s all highly manageable if you follow D3SG’s Act 2 Wizard guide. We’ll cover exactly the skills & runes, quests & bosses, items, and hirelings you’ll need to not only survive Act 2 Hell, but to quickly and efficiently move into Act 3. You’ve already unlocked nearly every skill & rune you’ll be using for the rest of the game, so why do I need to read this? Simply put, even though your skills & runes do not change as dynamically as the earlier difficulty levels, the difficulty of monsters does. As monsters change, so should your skills and more importantly your items.
