Witch Doctor Hell Difficulty Act 1 Build

Congratulations! You’ve made it to Hell difficulty. Once you get to Hell you’ll realize that it’s an aptly titled difficulty. This was previously the highest difficulty in Diablo 2 and it sure feels like it (Inferno anyone?). As was the case before, the content is exactly the same, just everything got much, much harder. We’ve been there and grinded through countless hours of endless mobs and constant headache in Hell mode and we’re confident we know exactly what you need to know to get past Diablo 3 Hell and into Inferno. Having a good, balanced party becomes paramount for success here (although, monsters now gain even more HP when you have additional party members!). Still, a good group is irreplaceable regardless of the boost that mobs have gotten. As you progress further, you’ll find that you’re going to have to gear your build to more defensive forms of play (from the more flexibly offensive play in Normal and Nightmare). Listen to this guide and we’ll have you on your way to Act 2 before you know it!
Hell
So what’s different between Hell and Nightmare. Set and act bosses and normal mobs are harder than before, but that is much more manageable. Blizzard has deemed Hell hard enough to put a level 50 requirement on beginning Act 1. So why is Hell so damn hard? Hell becomes 20x as hard as Normal is in the randomly generated blue and yellow mobs. In Nightmare these elite mobs picked up one extra attribute, well guess what? In Hell they just picked up one more (giving them three total). You’ll be tempted to spirit walk your way through dungeons, but guess what!? Well the truth is you can totally do this, but generally speaking, the tougher the mobs the better the loot (usually better than even Act bosses). Skipping elites is an option against particularly nasty combinations, but if you continue to do this you will find yourself undergeared and hopelessly outgunned in the higher levels of Hell and in Inferno. Don’t worry though, I’ve been there and I have all the secrets you need to move through Hell and into the depths of Inferno.
