General

Congratulations!  You’ve made it to Inferno difficulty Act 2.  Get ready for a gear check!  In Act 2, all the mobs were 61 now they are 62.  And you are still level 60.  Boo.  Luckily you’re a Demon Hunter and this will not be nearly as hard a gear check as it is for the other classes, especially the melee classes.  Other classes like the Barbarian and Monk have a hard time because they have to engage in melee with monsters.  The Wizard has it tough because of the speed of monsters.  Despite the increase in difficulty, the Demon Hunter scales very well in Act 2.  Unlike the melee classes where avoiding oncoming damage is impossible, the Demon Hunter can dodge, twirl, and blast her way through the act without significantly gearing up.  That’s not to say it will be easy.  Far from it.  Not only are monsters much tougher, but the terrain and fast movement speed of mobs make it alot tougher to avoid damage and being 1 shotted.  If you have difficulties with Act 2, please go back to Act 1 and do Butcher runs.  If this is the case, you are definitely not in the minority.  In the case of Inferno each act is almost like going from Nightmare to Hell.  Don’t fret though, I’ve been there and I know exactly what runs and gear you’re going to need to get into Act 3, and the very best loot.
