Act 2, Quest 2: The Road to Alcarnus
Quest: The Road to Alcarnus
Cross the bridge to enter Black Canyon Mines, a small wilderness area with a waypoint. From here, head west across the Stinging Winds to the Khasim Outpost. The same desert creatures from the first quest roam this area in slightly larger packs. Take your time to explore the Stinging Winds as there is plenty of cool stuff to be found here. Inside the Khasim Outpost talk to Lt. Vachem who sends you inside the Command Post to talk with the commander. Turns out the town guards are really Maghda’s serpent demons, called Copperfang Lurkers, in disguise. These guys are Belial’s main soldiers and will use their cloaking abilities to quickly surround you, but this pack shouldn’t pose too much trouble.
Open the cage to release the actual town guards, who will join you as you go back outside to fight off the rest of the outpost’s imposter guard. Kill all the demons in town and talk to Captain Davyd of the Iron Wolves to finish the quest.
