Quest: The Black Soulstone

With blood in hand, and a head in your pocket, head back out into the Desolate Sands and explore to find the entrance to the Archives of Zoltun Kulle, in the Northern section of the Desolate Sands, across a small bridge.

Once inside, head for the Terminus and talk to the young Emperor. From here it’s more portal hopping, as you must search for a relic in 2 separate dungeons. The first stop is the Unknown Depths, an area containing higher level versions of previous Act 2 enemies, primarily skeletons and spiders. Explore this rather large area until you find the Shadow Lock. Unlock it and then pop back through the nearby portal to the Terminus.

Now enter the portal to the Storm Halls, which is roughly the same size, but contains some rather volatile enemies. Keep an eye out for Lunatic Fallen and Savage Flyers who can wipe out life bars in the blink of an eye, as they offset their own weak health stats with high explosive and electrical damage. Once the relic for the Storm Halls is grabbed, head back to the Terminus and proceed to enter the third, central portal leading to the mysterious Realm of Shadow, where you will soon be swarmed by a mob of Shadow Stalkers.
